We use this on our 18' searay .Although this boat cover is a bit thin it does well overall. This is my 3rd cover in three years, the first one ripped due to me not securing it all the way when a rain storm came along ... Second one ripped due to the wind blowing our basketball hoop over onto it (actually glad it wasn't a high priced boat cover) and it ripped a small hole which eventually the wind shredded..This third one I secured and been more careful with, has lasted the entire year and holding up really well. The trick is to secure it really tight to the boat (I use bungee cords all the way around) or it WILL rip , also gotta watch it when it rains real heavy as it will pool up in the back but I put our tube in over the seats and this helps it not pool.I would and probably will buy again. Not bad for $60Four stars for being really thin material and not being rip resistant.I was looking for an inexpensive cover for my 1988 16'9" Sea Ray. Just wanted to keep the dust off, minimize gel coat oxidation, and keep cats out of it. It's already stored under a 12' x 20' canopy with a super heavy-duty 10-mil UV-treated tarp. I purchased a replacement tarp from Amazon when I bought the boat cover. The canopy prevents the rain from getting the boat cover wet. Over the years I've bought several more expensive covers that got wet, leaked water into the boat and rotted away. Went with the next size up 17' to 19'. Fits fine. Good quality. I don't plan on towing the boat with the cover on. I prefer to allow the interior to dry while in transit and prior to putting cover on. This cover meets my needs and I would recommend it for similar storage. The cover is cheap, both in terms of price and quality. There are two straps... dont quite understand that. It should have about 10 or 12 straps to help secure this top. It is generic after all, meant to fit 16'-18.5' boats. They pack in a spool of string... not the best way to secure a boat cover. With some more straps included, this cover could be a little more than OK.Look at the photo... real closely. You can see the white string running under the hull. What a royal pain in the backside to "string" this cover on securely. Strapping the cover down to the frame rails on the trailer would be much easier and certainly more practical. The folks at Classic Accessories need to add $10 or $15 to the price and pack this product with more practical means to secure it (straps). It’s a really great cover for one season but I end up getting a new one every year. It’s like high-quality disposableI have rails on the front of my 19' Larson manta. The rails had to be removed in order for boat to be covered completely. Also it says it fits 17'-19' it could use another 8" to cover where the out board sits. Other than that it fit ok.I have a 16 foot boat and wanted the cover to fit tight so I purchased this cover. However, I found if you have a window or chairs that stick up, this cover won't fit. I returned it and purchased the next size above. (16' - 18.5') The return was easy and the bigger cover fits perfectly. I like the cover because it's made very well and it comes with the straps to make sure it stays on. Make sure your getting a size bigger than your Boat.My brother's boat is kept at the cabin during the winter months in northern Wisconsin and he is very pleased that this boat cover fit over his boat with a canoe on top of the boat under the cover to keep the snow off until Spring. I bought him the same cover last year for his other boat at the cabin, so he is a very happy man.I can't tell you how disappointed I was with this cover. It didn't fit right but I expected that as I have a bass boat and a single windshield. But it began to dry-rot in one summer and by the next 12 months or so it began to tear in places and then the ripping was so bad that it was unrepairable. It does pay to spend a little more for something that is exposed to the elements like a boat cover. Also, the reason I selected this one was because of it being silver that it would reflect the UV rays and last longer. I was wrong.....Randy
